Insight Creative was born out of Redcat Media, a Hampshire based website design company, who started life back in 2000. Since then we have grown into a highly motivated and multi-skilled team that can handle any digital projects from website design and development through to electronic newsletters and online marketing. What we're offering is a complete end to end solution for companies.
So who are we?
Andy Jacobs - Managing Director
I started in the electronics industry from college and moved into the IT industry with McDonnell Douglas. I ended up managing a technical support team covering the whole of Europe before starting my own business as a website designer.
As well as managing the business, I take care of the day to day development work and I love the challenges that a new project brings. I take great pleasure in the fact that I can end each day knowing something more than I did when I got up.
I like doughnuts... in fact, anything to do with cake is always a good bet if you want to bribe me.
Pippa Jacobs - Finance DirectorI have worked for Insight Creative since the start in 2000 handling accounts and administration. Since we rebranded in July 2009 I have taken a more active role in managing projects and producing management account reports.
Before I worked for Insight I was a quality auditor for a large IT company where I travelled throughout Europe auditing the IT support departments of companys such as Volkswagen to ensure that quality policies were being adhered to and documentation was to standard.
I like sleep. If I am sleep deprived and anyone goes outside 30 days on invoices then my actions can become unpredictable.
Claire Thorburn - Designer
I joined Insight Creative as a designer in 2008 after graduating from Portsmouth University. I live in Warsash and make the long trek down the motorway each day to Havant to design the best websites that I can. I also get involved in training clients on how to use their content management systems when their websites go live.
I enjoy that fact that every project we take on is different. One day I can be designing for a small local company and the next for a large corporate.
I like tea, on the hour every hour. And I have tickets to see Lady Gaga Live. I'm also not averse to the odd Burger King breakfast.
Prajwal Jain - Developer
I work and live in India where I am under a company called Flexi Source who supply outsourced developers for companies across the world. I work full time for Insight Creative as a PHP developer and love the challenges I am given when a new project requires additional functionality and I have to think on my feet to make something work.
I'm the guy that starts work at about 6.00am UK time which gives me the flexibility to work on live sites when the UK business world is still sleeping. It also means that any problems we discover late one day can usually be fixed before 9.00am the following day. I think Andy forgets sometimes that there is a time difference and I'm in the office until 10.00pm before he realises and sends me home!
